Is Putin Planning An Ukrainian Blitz?

Things certainly seem to be calming down in the Ukrainian crisis, lately. After an eastern Ukraine popular vote to secede from the Kiev government, and establish a separate, pro-Russian state, Russian President Putin seems to be backing off of his previous belligerence. He recently announced that he has ordered his troops on the Ukraine border to return to their bases.

Just one problem, though. Neither American, nor N.A.T.O. satellite intelligence can confirm any evidence that this "order" is beginning to be carried out. So, we have an absolute Dictator, in Putin (no matter how hard he tries to appear as a democratic leader), who issues an order to his troops who apparently make no effort to obey that order??? I can't quite believe that this is a likely response to any of his orders to his military.

So, we appear to have a sham "order", that is merely a diplomatic ruse to distract western nations' attention away from the Ukrainian crisis. But for what purpose? In the 1930's, Hitler would use the signing of "Peace Treaties" in Europe to lull the Nations that were watching his crises (on high alert) to relax their suspicions, just before he attacked the nations he wished to conquer in his famous "Blitzkrieg" invasions. This allowed him to conquer those nations whose armies were too weak to put up much resistance by themselves, and solidify his army's control over their populations before any allied response could effectively react to his invasion.

This seems to be Putin's intentions, as far as I can guess. If he can lull the western Nations' to sleep with apparent diplomatic acquiescence, it will provide the best opportunity for his army to pull off a Nazi-esque Blitz invasion of the Ukraine, and solidify his positions before any western response can be effectively organized. Of course that is foolishly presuming that there was any western country with enough brass to even consider trying to respond in any military fashion. Certainly we do not! Obama has made that abundantly clear, to us, and to Putin as well!

Lately, the Ukrainian army has attempted to take back some positions that had been taken-over by what the media refers to as "pro-Russian Militia", which should probably read as crack Russian troops masquerading in Russian uniforms without any insignia. They seem to have Russian weapons at their disposal, which the pro-Ukrainian civilians can not duplicate because of president Obama's timidity. The net effect of all this is likely to be the full-scale invasion of the Ukraine by the Russian forces that we've been assured are pulling out. Don't be surprised to see a Russian form of Nazi "blitzkrieg" follow soon, as Putin takes a page out of "Mein Kampf", and tries his hand at duplicating the early successes of the Nazi-army European invasions. Unfortunately, he seems to forget that Hitler's downfall coincided with his brutal attempts to wipe the Jewish people off the face of the earth.

Cults Begone...And Your Deceptions, Too!

This is really getting old! I'm really fed up with the deceptive practices of various false "Christian" cults trying to barrow from my blog, and trying to seduce my readers into following their own blog's lies, and misrepresentations. The major difference here is that I am only one man, and I do not represent some non-profit religious organization, therefor I can not solicit charitable donations to fund my efforts. I admit that I have tried desperately to connect with Google AdSense to run advertisements on my blog for which I am supposed to receive an agreed upon small fee for the use of my space. So far, Google AdSense has seen fit to use my application as a one-way permission to run ads on my blog for which they belligerently refuse to complete the approval for me to receive any income owed me for the right to run their ads on my blog, which they have been doing shamelessly for the past three quarters of a year. I would appreciate it if they would fulfill their part of the bargain, and pay for their ad space, as was stated in the agreement. But they are the ones who make the final say, and they relentlessly place near-impossible restrictions for me to somehow figure out how to overcome, which I have been unable to do. Meantime, they continue to run their ads, and I presume they charge the advertisers at the full rate, yet they don't feel any need to remit my percentage of the advertised payment for my permission, since I can't figure out how to meet their extraneous procedure requirements. So, I continue to put up with this abuse, trying to believe that it is only temporary, though "temporary" is beginning to appear rather permanent! At some point I will become fed up with their abusive procedures, and I will cancel it permanently.

In the meantime, I confess that I'm getting tired of dealing with the non-Christian cults that seem to feel my blog is fair game to try and seduce readers away from my blog with ads that seem to agree with my original premises, while in fact they are really preaching concepts that are in opposition to major Biblical positions that I agree with, and do not wish to endorse theirs at all. I wish these cultists could feel confident enough about their doctrine that they would let their beliefs stand on their own, and trust the readers' intelligence to make up their own minds about whether they agree with my perspective, or prefer that of the cultists' false doctrine. I am not afraid to stand on my perspective. Some of what I have written may not be true, but it was my sincere opinion, based upon the Biblical scriptures that I referenced. I have tried to make careful distinctions between that which I believe is sound, and accurate scriptural doctrine, and my own reasoned speculations concerning prophetic gaps between what is actually stated. I feel this distinction allows reasonable discussion about what is prophetically absolute, and therefor irrefutable, and that which may well add insight into the actual prophetic fulfillment, should it be accurate, yet it doesn't significantly distort the truth of the prophecy should it turn out to be inaccurate. Much of what these cults preach does not offer such careful distinctions, and they end up offering false doctrine as absolute truth, without apology. A careful reading of the last page of the Bible (in Revelation 22) will explain the dire consequences for those who persist in such practices.

So far I have now discovered four such "cultish" advertisements on my blog, which I have finally banned from further promotion. One was for "Scientology", which at least makes no pretense of being remotely connected to Christian doctrine, or values. Another was by some Mormon group that tried to seem to be a "Christian" organization. They believe in an imaginary Jesus that does not remotely resemble the Jesus of the Christian Bible, and is therefor false. Finally there were ads from a "semi-cult", if that distinction is possible. This group believes in much of what the Bible teaches, except for a rather large error, in that they believe that the ten "lost tribes" of ancient Israel migrated to England, and eventually to America, where they became the Christian Church, here. I am not aware of any of their doctrine that actually negates the concept of salvation through faith in Jesus' forgiveness for our sins, and His personal redemption of our souls. But the doctrinal error I have stated is serious enough that I don't trust them to not err in some more serious doctrinal heresy, later, that might. So, to be on the safe side, I banned them, thinking that would be the end of it. It was apparently not.

Today I realized that the same cult was advertising on my blog, using the name of a spin-off organization named for their magazine, which of course promotes their parent organization! Very slick try; and I don't know how long they have fooled me with this tactic, but no longer! They're now banned, too!

My point in sharing this with my readers is to let you all know that you need to be on your guard as well. Much of the advertisements that run on my blog are either wholesome enough, or are innocuous to the point that they are at least "GP-rated" for content, as far as I can tell. But I'm sure there will be others that will try to cleverly slip something past me that they know I won't stand for, at least once I figure out what they are up to. In the mean time, be on your guard, and please don't think that everything that is advertised on my blog has my "seal of approval".

Putin: The Heights Of His Meglomania

One has to wonder just how absurdly insane must Vladimir Putin have become to actually believe that he can pull off an invasion of the Middle-East, and the total destruction of Israel! As I have said previously, I am now so convinced that he is that very leader of the Northern Nation that God refers to as "Gog", from the Nation of "Magog", that I don't even consider it important to refer to any distinction between them as relevant. Moreover, I am sensing that he has become so Meglomaniacly full of himself that there is little point in distinguishing between him and the spirit of self-delusion that Isaiah prophesied about in Chapter 14: verses 13, & 14, when he said, referring to Lucifer, the angelic name for Satan:

"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High (God)."

While this is certainly ascribed to Lucifer (Satan), and not to "Gog", it is an example of the spirit of egocentric blindness that must consume someone who is so foolish as to believe that he can pull off such an invasion as described in Ezekiel 38,& 39; especially as there are many Christians living in Russia today, both Clergy, and Laymen, who would certainly be able to recognize the signs of his intentions, and that they are very reminiscent of the invasion described by Ezekiel. Has his Totalitarian despotism become so complete that there is no one in all of Russia with enough courage to warn him of the horrible consequences this invasion will bring upon his army, and the armies of his Muslim-nations allies? If so, it is another example of the awesome power of God, that He can so consume His enemies with their own Meglomaniacal lust for world-domination, that they simply cannot believe the clear-cut warning that God has given him in Ezekiel 38,& 39. So, Putin seems desperate to rush headlong into a direct confrontation with God Almighty, that can only end disastrously for him and his armies, and will! Ezekiel, and Zechariah 14 describe the disaster that will follow his foolish invasion, when God will cause 83% of the invading armies to be destroyed.

This will probably seem as a trivial example of Putin's behavior, which I use as an indication of the personality I have described above, yet it is not the actions that I think are most indicative, but rather the high degree of foolish egotism that these actions would certainly require. First, recall the recent publicity photos released to the international press, one of Putin riding "bareback" on a horse (not that the horse was saddle-less, but that Putin was ridiculously shirtless, displaying his chest in all it's massive cellulite glory, for the whole world to "admire"). Then, this past week, we were "treated" to a publicity video showing Putin skating in a hockey rink past what was presumably some of Russia's top-rated hockey players, who obligingly skated aside to allow him to score a goal, for the admiring cameras! How pathetically absurd for a grown man to think that these two obviously staged publicity events would impress the world with his "heroic manliness", any more than did that picture of the late Mao Tse Tung when, in the few years before his death, he was pictured "swimming" in the muddy Yank Tse River. Funny thing was we could easily see that the only parts of his body that were visible above, or near the surface were his head and shoulders. As everyone knows, it is impossible to "swim", or even tread water with your arms by your side, as Mao's apparently were, so it was safe to assume he was merely squatting in the Muddy water, to try and fool the world into believing that he was out for some robust exercise, thus refuting any reports of his ill health.

And as for Putin's horseback ride, any time I have ever gone riding, which had been fairly frequent in younger years, I have been struck by the frequency of being attacked by some of the most vicious, blood-sucking, carnivorous animals on the face of the earth: namely Horseflies. These flies bare no resemblance to the common Houseflies, which merely pester one by buzzing around your face and occasionally landing upon you, until you swipe the away. But Horseflies will bite you viciously and repeatedly on any patch of exposed skin, which they consider to be a delicacy by comparison to the hairy hide of your horse. It would therefor seem absolutely superfluous for Putin to be riding shirtless, unless his ego was so swollen that he thought the world would be impressed by his "massively muscular frame", encased as it was in the afore-mentioned tub of Lard!

As I said, these are hardly condemning traits of behavior. However it is indicative of a grown man who has become so in love with himself that he cannot imagine that the rest of the world could not be equally impressed with his manly wonderfulness! This is the same kind of self-worshipping ego-mania that God used to drive the Pharoah of Moses' day into stubbornly resisting His demands, so that God could Glorify Himself before His people, when He destroyed Pharoah's army in the Red Sea! Now Putin seems to be rushing head-long into a similar situation that God has been setting up for him, so that He can Glorify Himself again, by destroying the enemies of His people! How little has been learned in the past 4000 years!
