Putin's War Of Distraction

As Russia's President Putin apparently continues to maneuver to set up the invasion of the Middle-East ( spoken of by God in Ezekiel chapters 38,& 39), I suspect that he is looking to find an ally that is insanely suicidal enough to instigate a war with America that will keep us tied up militarily to the point that we will not lift a finger to help Israel resist his invasion forces. I'm wondering if he has found just such a demonic nincompoop in the person of North Korea's President Kim? He has been blustering, and threatening to invade South Korea again, ever since he inherited his "throne" with the death of his father, knowing full well that this would force America to commit it's full military to the defense of our South Korean allies. It seems plausible that this could be just the distraction that Putin needs to carry out his obvious plans to invade Israel without fear of America coming to Israel's aid. And the North Koreans wouldn't have to fear our nuclear arms, since we know that they have sufficient nuclear capacity to wipe out South Korea, and any American troops stationed there, if we tried that.

Recently, North Korea fired two intermediate missiles into the South China Sea, close enough to the coastal waters of South Korea that it was taken to be an obvious threat, supposedly in retaliation for American, and South Korean military maneuvers that were carried out near the border between the two countries. This would seem a reasonable enough excuse, except that these were annual maneuvers that were carried out with North Korea's full knowledge, and expectation. But the missiles they fired in response seems to be a clear escalation of hostilities. So the question arises, is North Korea intending to continue escalating until they provoke us into responding to them in such a way that it gives them an excuse to re-invade South Korean territory? I would not be surprised if that turned out to be the case.

North Korea has been battling economic depression for decades, and their people have been struggling to cope with widespread poverty on a massive scale, as most of the G.D.P. has gone to finance the "care and feeding" of their monstrous military build up. They have long desired to find a way to retake the more prosperous South, as if that will serve to give their communist society more than just a brief respite from their endemic poverty. In the mean time, there seems to be only two ways for North Korea to conjure up enough cash to placate his people enough so that they will not rise up in revolt and throw the son-of-ill-repute out of power. One was to blackmail the west, namely America, into paying ransom to keep North Korea from further developing, testing, or exporting the technology of their Nuclear bomb, and missile capabilities. This has been done, with American politicians lamely painting it in terms of charitable compassion for the starving people of North Korea. Well, that money appears to be running out, and thus the renewed aggression of North Korea towards our ally in the South.

But there may be an alternative way of raising quick cash for the North Korean people. Perhaps Putin has, or will have in the future, the idea to tempt President Kim into invading South Korea by offering him a few billion dollars worth of blood-money to do it. First, it will bring in some cash, and second it will significantly reduce the North's over-population problem in a way that will stir up nationalistic fervor ( rather than the revolutionary outrage that mass starvation tends to create) when the war will produce thousands, or even tens of thousands of casualties. And don't think for a second that this meglo-maniacal little dwarf cares a wit about the unnecessary loss of life this will bring. He has proven that he only cares about his people in so far as it will keep himself in power. And lastly, any such war with America, combined with a simultaneous invasion of the Middle-East could bring about one of two conclusions, at least. Either the war with North Korea will significantly draw down our troop reserves, which Obama and the Congressional Democrats are in the process of reducing to pre-World War II levels now, so that we could not respond effectively to Putin's Invasion of the Middle-East, or if we chose to help Israel, as we should ( but won't), then North Korea would have a greatly enhanced chance of winning the war to force South Korea into surrendering. Or, if not, when Russia conquers Saudi Arabia and all the other oil-rich Gulf States, after wiping out Israel, Russia could force a defeated America to withdraw from South Korea by threatening the whole western economy of the world with a massive oil embargo, that would make the 1973 embargo look like infantile play-time. Either way, it all might seem very plausible to both the North Koreans, and to Putin, and his Army. Fortunately, no one could possibly expect little Israel to defeat the Russian Invasion, without the help of America. No one except for God, who doesn't need America's help to bring about His own Glory, when He will defeat 83% of Russia's invasion forces to protect His Chosen People, Israel ( as he Prophecied that he would do, in Ezekiel 38, &39). Praise the Lord!!!

Malaysian Airlines Plane Hijacked?

This is a bit of a departure from the general theme of news events that possibly relate to Biblical Prophecy, but there are some points of discussion concerning the "missing" Malaysian airlines plane that I can't help but weigh in on.

First of all let's get it straight just how cooperative the government of Malaysia has been, up to now. As in "NOT!". They have consistently been reported as having withheld information from more sophisticated international investigative agencies, including our own for several days after the disappearance, when the opportunity to solve the mystery is diminished greatly the longer it takes to gather the pertinent facts. Then, to show the world that they are really trying to do all they can to help the investigation they brought out a pagan tribal "Shaman" ( or, "witch doctor") and paraded him before the news media dancing, while holding up two coconuts and presumably chanting some magical incantation. Whoo, boy! I'm convinced! If Divining Rods can show us where to dig wells for water, then I'm sure coconuts can tell us where to find a hijacked airplane! Boy, modern technology ain't got nothing on these mental giants, that's for sure. After the coconut dance was over we were still left wondering why the Malaysians were so uncooperative for so long. Were they actually helping some terrorists get away with a hijacking by stalling the investigation?

If it was indeed a hijacking, as the investigators seem to be leaning to suspect now, exactly what was to be gained by doing so, other than demonstrating that it could be done? One expert that was interviewed by the media said that if the plane were to fly over some country's airspace, without identifying themselves, they might cause military aircraft to be scrambled after them, risking possibly being shot down. This same expert then suggested that this might be avoided by quickly landing at some unknown airport, such as an unused World War II military base, and then camouflaging it before it could be detected by a satellite. But then the question becomes, "to what purpose?" They would now have a completely unusable airplane, with 239 passengers that they wouldn't know what to do with. It seems clear that the Pilot, and Co-Pilot were carrying out the hijacking, since the tracking devices were apparently turned off manually just before the Co-Pilot gave a last, sarcastic-sounding message of, "Good night". If this is so, as another expert suggested on a news discussion show, then the "problem" of the passengers could be cold-bloodedly disposed of by quickly ascending to a height exceeding 40,000 feet, which would cause the passengers' emergency air masks to deploy. These have an air capacity of approximately 15 minutes, after which the passengers would suffocate. For terrorists who consider anyone else but themselves to be expendable this might seem to be a convenient way of disposing of 239 "problems". The expert then went on to suggest that perhaps a motive for all this could be in what another captured terrorist had told investigators years earlier. He described an Al Quaida plot that was to hijack several passenger jets to use as air-to-ground missiles against various targets. This preceded 911, and probably led to it's implimentation. Perhaps a variation of the original plot is in the works.

And if the point were to simply blow the plane up in a suicidal act of terrorism, then why fly for several hours in an unexpected direction, making recovery efforts that much harder. Once the plane is blown up the terrorists would want the wreckage to be easily discovered. That's the whole point of a terrorist act. They want their evil deed to be witnessed by as many people as possible in order to frighten as many as they can into submitting to there evil intentions. By simply disappearing they don't get the desired attention they need to publicize their cause.

In summation, it seems clear that this was a deliberate act carried out by the Pilots, for God only knows what purpose, and that the Malaysian government's obvious stalling of releasing pertinent information to the international investigators was meant to buy time for the terrorists to affect their escape. How anyone can imagine that they can benefit by committing this kind of an act, I have no clue, other than causing future air travelers to be more concerned about flying. I guess that Satan gets a kick out of having some of his lackies do some evil act just for the pure [heck] of it. He's probably off some where doing his coconut dance, and having a real fine time!

Putin's Overall Strategy For World Domination

I think I'm beginning to see what Putin is really up to. Not just in the Ukraine; that's pretty well been hashed out, with just the waiting to see if Putin will be satisfied with annexing the Crimean Peninsula, or whether he wants all of the Ukraine ( DUH!!!, three guesses!). Since Obama has reneged on any international sense of obligation to assist Ukrainian efforts to resist a Russian invasion, it would seem he can take his pick of choices as to where he goes next. Obama won't offer significant resistance, and western Europe can't, as they are held hostage by their dependence on Russian supplies of Natural Gas for their winter heating needs.

Now, if Putin could just get monopolistic control of the majority of the world's oil production countries then he could put the same kind of squeeze on the whole world, including America, and then he could blackmail the world into submission to anything he wanted. So, since it's long been accepted that the Kremlin viewed international politics as a giant Chess board, it's simply a matter of determining the most logical steps Putin will take in order to accomplish his goal of World Domination. I won't waste time bothering to convince those who foolishly believe he has any other intention; after witnessing the events in Crimea recently, coupled with a Bible-believers recognition that the Prophesied Russian, and Muslim Nations' invasion of Israel ( listed as Persia (or Iran), Ethiopia, and Lybia in Ezekiel 38, &39) seems to be drawing closer to imminent reality, all that's needed is to fill in the blanks, logically, to see where Putin is really headed, and how he plans to get there.

This Ukrainian uprising came along very conveniently for Putin (almost like God was setting him up to make his play). Historically, Russia has always treated America's Republican administrations with blustering belligerence, yet reasonable respect for their willingness to resist Russian aggression. But, they always chose what they perceived as Democratic pacifism to restrain American retaliation for their acts of aggression ( the Democratic Party seems to have a plethora of Chamberlain-esque wimps, just itching to sell out whole populations in an effort to seem to be brokering a "peace treaty") , usually through third-party client states that they would supply and advise. The Korean War, Viet Nam, and while there is no evidence to support my suspicions, I've always suspected that there might have been some sort of indirect advising ( from Kremlin strategists) behind the scenes to bring about 911! I just never thought that Osama Bin Laden, and his co-conspirators were smart enough to realize that passenger Jets could be used effectively as air-to-ground missiles, even if they had enough suicidal idiots willing to carry it out. This is the kind of diabolical planning that the K.G.B. was famous for when Putin was their boss. And, Amededijan and his Iranian students who stormed the American Embassy during the Carter administration were reputed to be heavily influenced by Russian communism, more so than fundamentalist Islamic fervor. I wonder if there might have been some K.G.B. instigation there, as well? I know I'm sounding like some kind of McCarthyite paranoid, but frankly I've always felt that McCarthy was right about a lot of his charges, he was just a little remiss in using blank pieces of paper as evidence when he stated, "I have the evidence right here!" The difference between us is I'm sighting my own speculative opinions, while he was bringing charges at Congressional Hearings, with the threat of civil charges following. Putin has nothing to fear from me, legally, or otherwise, so I guess I can slander him at will,...so I will!

Now, it seems to me that Putin needs to keep pressing at various strategic pressure points around the world until he can draw us into some kind of costly war (in terms of money and man-power) with a client-state of Russia's, in order to bog us down while he sets up his plans for invading the Middle-east. If he can keep us so distracted that we will not have the will-power to respond by coming to Israel's defense, other than the wimpy diplomatic query, "have you come to take a great spoil?" (in Ezekiel 38), then he will likely expect that his forces can simply roll over Israel (the only serious threat in the middle-east), leaving Israel to be slaughtered by the Iranian, Lebanese, and Syrian Shiite muslims, while he moves against Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf State oil monarchies, that are enemies of Putin's Muslim allies. The deal here seems to be that he'll let the Shiites slaughter Israel, and they'll let him conquer the oil-rich Gulf States. And we'll sit around and watch it all happen, not helping Israel, because we've got our hands full fighting off the Communist insurrection of Lower Slobovia!!!

Well, thank God that Jesus has other plans, and that He doesn't need America to bail Him out. Like I said, He's probably using the Ukrainian fiasco to force Putin to show his hand, so He can set him up for the final destruction of 83% of Putin's (or "Gog's") invasion force, when he delivers Israel from their enemies! As always,..."Look up..."!!! Updating The Ukrainian Updates

I wrote a preliminary post on the Russian threat to the Ukraine's safety last month ( on the 21st, titled, "Ukraine's Migraine"). That was followed by three Updates as things began to unfold, with Putin's desire to invade the Ukraine becoming more and more obvious, until he finally did, by swallowing up the Crimean Peninsula in one day. It may seem fairly reasonable for him to be concerned with protecting Russian interests there, as their only warm-water Naval Base is located there. But does anyone really expect him to stop there?

The next likely step will probably be moving his forces north, to take complete control of the entire southeastern part of the Ukraine, where the citizens are mostly of Russian descent, and overwhelming Russian sympathy. He will probably use the excuse that he is protecting these Ukrainian people from the "hostility" of the other half of the population that is more sympathetic with the western European nations. Of course there is no discernible threat from the western side, but Putin does not need to rely on the truth to rationalize his blatant power grabs. After that, and when there is no serious response by either the U.S., or the N.A.T.O. nations, he will finally move into the rest of the Ukraine's territory, claiming that the "threat" that exists only in his imagination forced him to take control of the entire country, in order to "stabilize the situation". Eventually, he will simply annex the Ukraine into his newly created 2nd Soviet Union Empire, which will effectively serve notice on the rest of the former Soviet satellite countries, that they can reasonably expect to be next.

Between Putin's blatant aggression, with his obvious expectation of impunity, which is rightly discerned due to the lily-livered response of our do-nothing President, and the inability of the western European nations to respond ( as they are dependent upon Russia to supply 80% of their Natural Gas heating needs, and fear an embargo if they tick-off Putin too much), I am nearly convinced that Putin must be the "Gog" of God's prophecy in Ezekiel 38, & 39; unless it could be one of his generals carrying out his orders. I can't imagine anyone being more likely to respond to his future invasion of Israel with the ultra-cowardly query of, "have you come to take a great spoil?", than our sitting "buffoon in chief", in the White House. If my reasoning is sound, then that means that the Gog/Magog invasion of Israel will likely take place before Obama leaves office in 2-1/2 years. And that means we should all hold on to our hats, and "look up, for ( our) redemption draweth nigh"!!! Even so come quickly Lord Jesus...!
