"It Is Expedient That One Man Should Die For The People"...

The above statement was given by the high priest to the Pharisees, referring to Jesus, when he really meant the preservation of their political authority, rather than any concern for the people.

Today, we have another such "expedient" trial of an apparently innocent man, whose persecution fits the desires of our modern-day Pharisees, the Congressional Democrats, who wish to accuse him of absurd crimes in order to facilitate their desires to regain control of the Congress, after the Mid-term elections.

While I'm certainly not trying to compare Bret Kavanaugh to Christ, the approach is similar, as is the basis for it, though certainly on a smaller scale.  While Christ was willing to die, for our sins (not His), Kavanaugh is suffering humiliating character assassination, in order to have his nomination to the Supreme Court be confirmed by the full Senate, or at least mostly by the Republicans.

I can't believe that God would allow him to go through this, and not be confirmed, as Jesus said we (all believing Christians) would suffer persecution ("for righteousness sake"), not for any other reason than that we believe in Him.  I'm not saying that the Democrats realize that his faith in Christ is the real reason he is being persecuted, but spiritually that is the basis for it, no matter what they say is their reasoning, and certainly not for their lying excuses!!!  (Jesus said, "If they have persecuted me, they will persecute you also.")

The real short-term reason for their accusations, most of which border on the absurd, is simply to create a basis for endless F.B.I. investigations, that will keep the Senate from voting to confirm, until after the Mid-term elections, which historically have brought the previous losing party of the most recent presidential election to regain any lost power in the Congress.   I guess this is because the losers are desperate to obstruct the winning President's efforts to govern, and many of the winning party's voters become complacent, and don't bother to vote, in the Mid-term elections.  If there ever was a time when Republicans who voted for Trump, and support what he has been able to accomplish, so far, and what he has said he wants to do further, it is now, in the upcoming election, because the Democrats can be counted on to try and reverse his accomplishments, if they regain control of the Congress.  And their mutually professed hatred of the President will guarantee that they will turn out a large voter block that buys into their lying, slander of everyone who agrees with the President.

There is only one way to defeat this kind of overwhelming bitterness, and that's through overcoming prayer, not only for a defeat of the Democrats, but for a nation-wide, Holy Spirit Revival.  Previous Revivals have famously emptied the prisons, because people were simply not committing crimes!  This is the kind of power that it will take to get these Democrats, and Socialists, to repent of their evil ways, and unite for the sake of our country, and not for their greedy power lusts!!!

The Left Is Terified Of Being Left...Behind!!!

Over the weekend we had Barack Obama explaining that the Trump economic expansion was really his, after all.  Why should this surprise us?   The main tool of deception used consistently by Leftist politicians is blatant outrageous lies.  They really believe that the American voter is a gullible idiot that will believe anything, no matter how much material evidence there is to the contrary.

The upcoming Mid-term elections should prove their beliefs either correct, or not, at least to this extent.  The extra cash the voters will carry in their pockets should be very material evidence that President Trump's policies (especially the Tax cuts, and the dissolving of the many Obama-era regulations that have been stifling American business for twelve years) are directly responsible for the recent economic recovery.  This is all so obvious that it has the Democrats desperately trying to confuse the issue by lying about the source of the recovery.

Obama had the gall to claim that the recovery started near the end of his presidency, as if by magic, through the natural development of his policies.  Well that's true, if you consider the economic growth of fractions of percentage points to signal the economic recovery from his record recession.  But, the rapid growth we have seen in the few months since Trump took over can only be truly explained by the policies he has instituted.

Yet, the very desperation of the Left to try and claim the recovery for themselves, shows how worried they are that they might not recover lost political power, and that they may actually lose some of what they still have (and deservedly so!).

They are desperate to recover their lost power, and as soon as possible, not because they want to help America, but because they want to destroy it!  I have written before that I believe the Left hates our Constitutional form of government, and wants to regain control of it so they can slowly destroy our economy, until we can be convinced that the Constitution is obsolete, and must be dissolved in favor of accepting membership in the European Socialist, One-World government.  This amounts to treason, in my book, yet we continue to view these people as the"loyal opposition" party!   "Opposition" certainly, but there is nothing loyal about them!!!  They recognize that they can have no unified One-World system as long as there is a better one here in America!  This is the real reason they hate Trump so much!  He represents the greatest obstacle to their conspiracy, yet!  He wants to "Make America Great Again",  right when they thought they were about to make it poor, with Hillary's continuance of Obama's destructive policies.  Trump was in their eyes the anti-Obama-era-contraction of the economy that would frustrate the people to the point of dissolving the Constitution!  Now we see why they want to get rid of Trump so badly, along with anyone else who wants to make America great, again!

The sad thing about these people is that they really believe the One-World Socialist system will work!  But the Bible clearly prophecies that the Antichrist will eventually take control of it, and use it to facilitate his reign of terror, that will make Nazi Germany look like kindergarten, by comparison!

Fortunately, God will only allow this to continue for seven years, after which He will allow Jesus to return, and establish His Kingdom, forever!!!  As I frequently have closed  previous posts, "...look up, for your redemption draweth nigh"!!!

What The H*** Is Going On???

I have been noting large jumps in my blog's daily Pageviews, as recorded by my Blog server.   I am puzzled by it, but I make note of it.  Yesterday,  this Blog received 137 pageviews, 132 of them were from that wonderful country that calls itself, "Unknown Region", wherever that may be!  I don't know, but I suspect it may be located somewhere between the Baltic Sea, and the Pacific Ocean, and I'll bet the language they speak there sounds a lot like Russian!!!  Whenever this has happened in the past, it has always been listed as having originated from Russia (except once from France, which I don't understand, at all).

I can understand why Russia may take an unusual interest in my blog, since I have consistently speculated that the 2500-year-old Biblical prophecy of a "latter day" invasion of the Middle-east was probably to be organized by Russia, and current events suggested that Russia may be building up to fulfill that prophecy in the near future.   If I am correct, I can see why they would wonder why some crack-pot Bible student would know what they're planning, when the details have been available for anyone for the last 25 centuries!!!  All it took was for someone to actually believe what is written, and be humble enough to say so!  I have no problem being humble, because I have no reputation to lose, as any true Bible scholar would, even if they drew the same conclusions as I, if these prophecies didn't come true in their lifetimes.

Yet, I am baffled by the continued interest in my blog, whomever it is.  They can read about the prophecy, themselves, and I can write nothing new about the prophecy, except how the current events seem to suggest the soon fulfillment.  And, if Russia is building up to this, I should think they would recognize the build up they themselves were creating!   I guess they are watching to see if I recognize what's going on.

Yesterday, it was reported on the news that Russia, Iran, and Turkey (three of the prophecied allies of the invasion) are holding a Tri-lateral meeting, that our intelligence officials are concerned may suggest they are planning some kind of chemical weapons attack on someone!   I can think of one prophecied  victim of such an attack (Israel, at the outset of the invasion), but our intelligence officials  seem to suspect that our local allies, which are located in  Northwestern Syria, might be at risk.  This makes more sense, logically, since Turkey especially hates them, and an invasion of Israel would be jeopardized with an American ally in their rear.  Also, this may be considered a test of the international reaction to their use of the banned chemical weapons, on a wide scale basis.  If they get away with it, Israel can soon expect to be next!!!

The Politics Of Desperation!

When the left finally realized that there was little they could do to stop Republicans from confirming Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, since the 2/3rds majority rule was ruled out by their former Democratic majority leader, they resorted to desperate histrionics to try and stall the proceedings until they can hopefully win back control of the Congress, in November.

First, they raised the issue of postponing the confirmation hearings until the remaining 150,000 documents they had asked for were released, with sufficient time to study them.  They have already had over 400,000 documents to study for months, more than the past five nominees, combined,  and it was obvious the documents were merely a stall tactic.

Today, as the confirmation hearings began, the Democratic Senators took turns interrupting the chairman's opening sentences to loudly protest their feigned outrage at not being given their desired postponement.  When they were ignored, several protestors (as if on cue) took turns disrupting the proceedings with their shouted tirades, until they were "escorted"  out of the chambers by the Capitol Police.

I'll admit the formal proceedings of the hearing were tiresome, and a bit pompous,  but such are the normal Congressional proceedings.  The disruptions were not only rude, they demonstrated the overall desperation of the Left, as they realize how hopelessly irrelevant their political power has become.  They are left with only two main efforts to stop the Trump agenda;  Deep State interference,  which may prove to be illegal, and prosecutable, after the Mid-term elections;  and public disruption of normal proceedings, which proves nothing but their own desperation!

All I can say is, thank God that Hillary Clinton lost!!!  May she continue to "rest" in the humiliating Hell of her own creation!!!

The Propaganda Cartel

Someone once said, "The pen is mightier than the sword."  I would add that the media is much mightier than, "the pen".   And the media is under the control of a bunch of greedy, Socialist leaning, geeks, who care nothing about Constitutional freedoms, but only want to placate a cattle-brained populace into marching lock-step into whatever political agenda is the most profit serving option for their companies!

Today, we have a largely unregulated (at least in this country) cartel of propagandists, made up of ideologically dedicated Socialist journalists, who have learned early in their post-graduate careers that free enterprise, and Capitalistic views were the fastest way to committing professional suicide in their chosen field.  They should not be blamed for holding to those values, nor should their editors be blamed for obviously hiring, almost exclusively. those who demonstrate those values.  But the companies that hire the editors, who hire the journalists, who follow the corporate policies, are controlled by boards of directors that prefer dealing with Socialist governments, because they can control the masses better than a government that recognizes the freedoms of a Constitutional set of laws.  Essentially, they consider the people to be a mass of cattle-brained buffoons, that can be easily directed to accept whatever propaganda they wish to promote, provided there is no counter opinion expressed to the contrary!   That's why censorship of all opposing views is necessary, in their views.

The so-called social media is even less regulated than the Press, and that has become blatantly obvious of late, as the brazen squelching of conservative websites, through the technique known as, "shadow banning" has risen to the point of critical mass, so that even President Trump's administration has received enough complaints to begin to investigate whether Congressional oversight is necessary.  This is a concept that no one wants, and the corporate directors are obviously banking on our eventually deciding against it, but the issue has become serious enough that it may well be deemed preferable to the free reign of these greedy corporate directors.  It would be a shame to restrict a lot of our freedoms, under the supervision of a lot of government bureaucrats, who may become even more corrupt than these corporate directors, but can be controlled more easily, than the directors.  They can be fired, especially if their government employees contract is edited to make firing for malfeasance, and incompetence easier to do.

All of this should be unnecessary, but the collective greed of the corporate directors needs to be reigned  in, one way, or another!

Why I Write This Blog

I have, from the beginning of this Blog (about 10 years ago), admitted that I have no professional credibility as a journalist, or even as a Biblical scholar, though I do presume to write about both news reports of current events, and Biblical prophecies that those current events suggest may be about to be fulfilled.  Precisely because I have no credibility, and therefore no reputation as such to be sullied if my judgements about the possible soon fulfillment of ancient prophecies proves incorrect, I find myself in the unique position to recognize the bigger picture of what God is allowing to happen in the world today.

If I were a recognized Biblical scholar, with theological degrees to lend credibility to my opinions, I would perhaps be reluctant to risk my reputation on such seemingly outrageous claims as believing an ancient prophecy, given by God to the prophet Ezekiel (in chapters 38, and 39), some 2500 years ago, was beginning to take shape, in a way never before seen, in the Middle-east, which fits the circumstances that God described to the prophet Ezekiel.  But, the acquisition of  a warm-weather port, in Syria, by their ally,  Russia (which Russia has coveted for centuries), creates the ability of these two countries, along with other Muslim nations in the region, to bring to pass the very Middle-east invasion that God prophecied that He was "about", to bring to pass, "in the latter days".  Add to that the fact that American sponsored, western-nation sanctions are creating massive economic difficulties for Russia, because of their blatant invasion of the Ukraine, and consequential annexation of the Crimean peninsula, along with the sanctions we have placed upon Iran (for their continued efforts to develop nuclear weapons, which they have repeatedly threatened to use against Israel, first, and the U.S. later), has created the motive for such an invasion to take over the Saudi Arabian, and other Gulf State oil reserves, so Russia can embargo the very western nations that have sanctioned them.  Russian military strategists have long used Chess strategy as examples of military tactics, and this kind of "tit-for-tat" retaliation would likely seem irresistible to them, much more so than retreating from the Ukrainian, and Crimean territory they have conquered recently.

Likewise, if I were credentialed journalist, with degrees in journalism, and hired by some main stream news agency, I would have serious qualms about writing that the above facts fueled my suspicion that a 2500-year-old prophecy of the Bible was perhaps soon to be fulfilled.  Few main stream publications give any credibility to anything in the Bible, and certainly an unfulfilled prophecy would make a professed believer the laughing stock of the industry, and guarantee his soon termination from his employer!

So, having no reputation in the first place makes me perfect to spout my "ridiculous claims", since I have no credibility to lose!  I hesitate to say that God chose me to do this, but neither will I say He did not!  I leave it up to the reader to decide if there is any credence to my speculation, and to consider how that might effect them personally!

It's Not Left, Or Right, It's About The Constitution!!!

The longer I reflect upon the division in American politics today, the more I'm convinced that what we see is a blatant attempt to overthrow our Constitutional government, not merely win an election!!!

This is not the first time, but it may be the most serious assault upon our Constitutional freedoms, yet!  I don't believe anyone wants to turn are country into any other form of government, like a Socialist State.  It's not the Socialism part that they object to,  they don't want America to be an independent State, any longer!  They want us to voluntarily abolish the Constitution, as obsolete, which they have long believed, and they want to destroy our values to the point that we will willingly accept membership in the European Commonwealth's concept of a One-World Socialist Government!!!

This has to be the only logical reason for their belligerent resistance to Trump's efforts to end the illegal immigration that is allowing the importation of criminals, and terrorists into our country.  Case in point, the recent discovery of Molly Tippett's body, after she was murdered by an illegal immigrant, who came here some eight years ago.  The Socialists believe that, "Out of chaos comes order."  Therefore, the worse thing get here, the sooner we will be ready to say our Constitution is obsolete, and will be ready to scrap it!

The Bible prophecies that the Antichrist will one day rise to power to control such a government, and those in America today, who foolishly believe this is our "hope for the future" recognize that it can not happen if America retains it's "Greatness", as  President Trump has begun our resurgence.    So, in spite of all the rhetoric about how much they hate Trump, they really hate what he is trying to do, in creating a resurgence of American greatness, because they know that we would never voluntarily give up what makes us great (our Constitution) for European mediocrity!  Then we would have an, "almost One-World Government", and America!!!  And if America's greatness continued to outshine Europe's,  how long could they expect the rest of the world to comply???  (About the seven years that Jesus waits to return, and set up His Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, I guess!)

Like I said, this is not the first time someone, or group of people, have tried to overthrow our government:  First, the British tried to kill it off, before it was born out of our Revolution, and later, in 1812, in what I prefer to call, "the second American Revolution", and later still, when the British helped another revolt, in what we call the Civil War, (I wonder what the British would have done to the North, if the South had won that one?).  Finally, I guess the British got the message, but now we have the rest of Europe trying to enslave us, with the help of the second most powerful force in the Universe (Satan) on their side!!!  The Devil has been defeated, by Jesus, but he will not be imprisoned until after Jesus returns, which the Bible makes clear will not be until after the Antichrist's seven year reign.

In the mean time, it's left to us to resist the Devil, and he will flee from us, not because we are more powerful then he is, but because we resist him in the name of Jesus, who IS more powerful!!!  I think the only way we can do this is to pray earnestly for the great revival prophecied in the Last Days, when even the Deep Staters, even the Democrats, and even the Social Democrats can be saved!!!  Jesus is the only one who can bring about the kind of heart-changing repentance necessary to unite this country in His Righteousness!!!
