Is Russia Behind The North Korean Threats???

I wonder!   It would not surprise me to find out that this were true!  There is nothing in the Bible to indicate that anything like a Nuclear exchange is to take place between America, and North Korea, even by referring to them in some indirect descriptive form.   Surely an issue this cataclysmic would be serious enough that God would say something about it, at least in some indirect reference.   So, I would have to assume that North Korea is merely bluffing, for whatever reason, however dangerous this might seem.

But, if one factors in the Ezekiel prophecies about the seemingly imminent "Gog/Magog" invasion of the Middle-East, it makes sense that Russia (a long-time ally of North Korea) might wish to throw off suspicion of what it is intending to do, by giving America a greater issue to worry about, that  seems to be more likely to happen.  If Russia is planning to invade the Middle-East, it would surely not wish to alert America  (except for some crack-pot blog writer like yours truly, who could easily be dismissed as a lunatic), so they might instigate some Nuclear "sabre rattling" by North Korea, just to draw America's attention away from the Middle-East.  They are probably afraid of American intervention, but don't think Israel poses a serious threat to their invasion plans.  But they forgot to factor in the "wrath of God" (see Ezekiel 38: 18), which will pose a far more serious threat, by helping Israel, than anything America might do! 

Another interesting thought gathered from the news,  today...  It seems the leader of the Taliban, in Afghanistan,  is making conciliatory  gestures towards their traditional  hated rival factions in the Muslim world.   I believe the Afghan Muslims are of the Sunni sect, and as such they believe the Shiites of Iran to be "heretics" to their "true faith".   But, today it was reported that the Afghans are now "open" to a more "inclusive" system of government, after some twenty-plus years of very strict "Sharia Law".  This sounds suspiciously like an official concession for some ulterior motive, other than they simply felt it was the right thing to do.  These people are not known for giving up on their strict policies, just because others don't like them. 

I wonder if Russia has been working behind the scenes to bring about a temporary truce between these factions, for the "greater good" that both sides would agree on, in uniting to invade Israel, with Russian support, and then they would probably want to fight it out between themselves afterwards to see who controlled the Holy Land, thereafter.  As I wrote two posts ago, this kind of flimsy truce could eventually result in the blood-bath that is prophecied to take place when they meet unexpectedly fierce resistance from Israel, and in trying to retreat, "every man's sword (or modern weapon) will be against his "brother" ([see Ezekiel 38: 21]at least in the Muslim Faith).  In this way , they are prophecied to kill off 83 1/3rd% of their total invasion force, Russians included!!!

Granted, I may be trying to read too much into this, but, it 's all getting "curiouser and curiouser", to quote that great prophet, Alice, of Wonderland fame!!!
