Todays headlines carry the wonderful news that since Obama has announced that, "no more boots on the ground" will be sent to fight in Iraq, at least not American boots, surprise, surprise... the Russians are just happy to send their fighter jets to provide the air support that the Iraqi's desperately need to help their forces defend their territory against the so-called "I.S.I.S" insurgent forces. It appears that President Obama has succeeded in giving the green light to Russia's President Putin not only for their air support but can the Russian boots be far behind??? I doubt it.
Between the Russian jets, and the Iranian drones, which were most likely developed after the Iranians captured one of our "Predators", the Iraqis should be able to at least stop the unchecked advance of the insurgent forces in Iraq, while giving the pro-Iranian governments of both Iraq and Syria the opportunity to cement relations with Iran, and Putin the opportunity to create an alliance with the new Shiite-Caliphate State, of whatever name they will call it. It's really beginning to look as though God's bringing all the principals together for the Prophecied invasion of Israel, He spoke of in Ezekeiel 38,& 39, and our brilliant President seems to be doing all he can to help Him, while probably intending to help the insurgents, by doing nothing.
Today (Thursday), a "Pentagon official" apparently was so fed up with the "do-nothing" response of the White House that he risked his future career, and cushy pension by condemning the C.I.A., and White House's positions as political, versus the Pentagon's willingness to offer at least limited support for the Iraqi forces. That's tantamount to committing professional suicide in the supposedly "apolitical" Pentagon. He must be really fed-up to do that, but will Obama be impressed by this? Probably not! He'll likely fire the disloyal bureaucrat, or force the resignation of whatever military officer we're talking about so no one else will have the guts to question his decisions in the future. Stand by for that.
